Woman attacked by bear in Montana

A woman renting a cabin in the Duck Lake area near Babb, Montana was walking her dogs near duck lake on Friday morning when she was attacked by the bear.

Details remain limited but one dog was killed and the woman was airlifted to Kalispell by helicopter with “serious” injuries. She is expected to recover. Officials have yet to release whether or not it was a black bear or grizzly bear.
