January 3, 2018Multiple grizzly sightings just 23 miles West of Great Falls, Montana near Simms have prompted officials to issue warnings to hunters and home owners in the area.
A bow-hunter spotted a pair of sub-adult grizzlies near the Sun River, then a homeowner snapped photos of a grizzly running by hear house near Fort Shaw.
Mike Madel says this is the furthest East on the Sun River Grizzly bears have been spotted but the large carnivores have been spotted further east.
