Grizzly Relocation Notice

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department trapped and relocated an adult female grizzly bear on Sept. 27, 2013.The bear was preemptively captured for frequenting developed areas on the North Fork of the Shoshone River. In cooperation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service the bear was relocated to the Fox Creek drainage of the Clarks Fork River approximately 15 miles northwest of Crandall, WY. The release site is located in currently occupied grizzly bear habitat.
