Verified Grizzly Bear Killed Livestock

• Verified 47 lambs, one yearling steer, and one calf as killed by grizzly bears west of Thermopiles.
• Verified 1 calf as injured by a grizzly bear west of Meeteetse.

Research and Monitoring

• Caught two previously unmarked male grizzly bears in the North Fork drainage of the Shoshone River for monitoring purposes. Trapping activities were concluded with capture objectives met.

Bear Management (Captures, Relocations, and Removals)

• Captured and relocated one subadult grizzly bear for sheep depredation west of Thermopiles.
